Cancellation Policy

Pumadventures Peru Tours & Corrina Porterfield wish for you to travel with 100% satisfaction and success. The following conditions will be your contract; read them carefully to ensure all parties are in agreement of the conditions. When you book a trip with us, you automatically agree to these Terms and Conditions. These conditions affect your rights and establish the governing law and forum for resolving any disputes that may arise.

Cost

The cost of this 10-day retreat is $4800 per person for a shared room; and $5300 per person for a single room. Details of what is included and not included in the price of the retreat is listed on the website (corrinaporterfield.com). A discovery call is required to determine if a participant meets the requirements to attend this retreat.  

Contract 

Once a deposit is made, a binding contract between Corrina Porterfield, Pumadventures Peru Tours and the Client is made. Corrina Porterfield has full authority on behalf of all persons in the group and confirms that all such persons are aware of and accept the conditions.

Payment

A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to reserve your spot. Once your spot is reserved, half (50%) of the total cost of retreat is due June 22nd.  Full payment (100%) is due August 22nd to ensure hotel reservations, train tickets as well as tickets to Machu Picchu and other sacred sites.  Payment options are to be arranged individually with Corrina Porterfield.

Passport and Visas 

It is the Client’s responsibility to have a valid passport, visa permit and medical papers required by the authorities of the visited country for the duration of the tour. Passports must be valid for more than 6 months from the date of arrival into Peru.  

Age, Fitness and Participation

All Clients are expected to assess their physical fitness in terms of the requirements of the itinerary prior to booking. Travelers with pre-existing medical conditions are advised to check with a healthcare professional before traveling.

Pumadventures Peru Tours reserves the right to decline a booking at their discretion. Clients must agree to accept the authority and decisions of the employees of Pumadventures Peru Tours. If in the opinion of Pumadventures Peru Tours, the health or conduct of a Client appears to endanger the safety and progress of the tour, the client may be excluded from part or all of the tour. In case of illness, Pumadventures Peru Tours may make arrangements in the interest of the Client's health, to be reimbursed afterwards by the Client for medical attention.

Cancellation by The Client

The Client can cancel the booking at any time, provided that a written cancellation is communicated to Corrina Porterfield. The $500 deposit paid for the reservation of the trip is non-refundable. Cancellation fees are calculated according to time between the date of written notice of cancellation and first day of the retreat on Oct 22nd, 2025 (day of departure). 

Cancellation <30 days: 100% of total price must be paid | 0% refunded.

Cancellation 59-31 days: 60% of total price must be paid | 30% refunded.

Cancellation 119-60 days:  50% of total price must be paid | 50% refunded.

Cancellation >120 days: Receive a full refund minus the deposit fee of $500

Substitution of Client

If any member of your party is prevented from traveling, it may be possible to transfer the booking to another suitable person provided that written notice is given at least 30 days prior to departure. An administration fee of US $50 will be charged along with any other additional costs imposed on Pumadventures Peru Tours. Payment for Machu Picchu tickets are non-transferable.  

Changes and cancellation by Pumadventures Peru Tours

While Pumadventures Peru Tours always attempts with full commitment to operate all tours as advertised, The Client accepts that it may prove necessary or advisable to modify a tour itinerary and its contents due to prevailing local conditions. Pumadventures Peru Tours reserves the right to cancel or change any of the facilities, services and prices at any time and to substitute with alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value without compensation and accept no liability as a result of these changes. If a major change is known to us at the time of booking, the Client will be informed immediately. If a major change becomes necessary after booking, Pumadventures Peru Tours will inform the Client as soon as reasonably possible.

Local Laws

All participants in tours operated by Pumadventures Peru Tours are expected to obey the laws and regulations of the country visited and any failure to do so will relieve Pumadventures Peru Tours of all obligations of booking conditions.


Illness or Disability

Anyone suffering from illness or disability or undergoing treatment for any physical or medical condition must declare it at the time of discovery call and make arrangements for the provisions of medication or any other treatment which may be needed during the tour. Failure to disclose such information will constitute a breach of the booking conditions and result in the person being excluded from the tour and having to pay 100% of the total price of tour as forfeit. 

Travel Insurance

Although, trip insurance is not required, it is highly recommended that participants purchase trip insurance to protect themselves from unforeseen circumstances (delayed travel, lost luggage, sickness, injuries, etc.)  Pumadventures Peru Tours does not provide travel insurance, however we highly recommend the Client to get it and it is their full responsibility to do so.

Client has a Complaint

If a Client has a complaint about any tour arrangements, they must bring it to the attention of the tour leader or a representative from Pumadventures Peru Tours at the appropriate time so that they may use their best endeavors to rectify the situation. Only if Pumadventures Peru Tours are made aware of any problems do they have the opportunity to improve on the situation. Making a complaint known to Pumadventures Peru Tours as soon as a problem arises during your trip allows them to remedy the situation or facilitate a form of compensation. Should the problem remain unresolved, a written complaint must be made to Pumadventures Peru Tours within 28 days of the completion of the tour.


Activity Disclaimer

This disclaimer explains the responsibilities associated with participating in activities and ceremonies organized by Pumadventures. By organizing your trip, Pumadventures has taken all necessary precautions to minimize the associated risks in activities and ceremonies in the most efficient way possible during your travels.

You agree that Pumadventures has provided you with all the information about the activities and ceremonies during your trip. It's your responsibility to follow this information and to share with Pumadventures any health conditions, disabilities, medications you take, or dietary restrictions that may impede you from carrying out the contracted services or increase the risks associated with such contracted activities.

You understand that participating in activities and ceremonies involves some risks and you know that some activities might be physically and emotionally demanding or in unusual places. If you have any health concerns, you must talk to your family doctor and us before joining in.

By taking part, you, as the Client, hereby release Corrina Porterfield, Pumadventures, its guides, drivers, any employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to your participation in activities and ceremonies.

By proceeding with participation in activities and ceremonies organized by Pumadventures, you confirm that you have read carefully and understood this disclaimer in its entirety. You acknowledge that your participation is voluntary and that you assume all risks associated with it.
